Here we are in the middle of winter and no one is thinking about the summer.
Every year, around June 1st, I get many requests for bridal boudoir for June and July weddings. Or woman celebrating their anniversary. At this time I’m usually book with other boudoir sessions, business portraits or family sessions and it’s hard to squeeze in more or even deliver the products, such as albums, in time for the wedding or anniversary date.
So, when should you schedule your boudoir session? Preferably 8 weeks before the date if you need your products in hand. Boudoir is an amazing experience and gift so make sure you plan out enough time to make it happen.
Here are tips to help you schedule your boudoir session on time:
1) Book your session 8 weeks before you want to deliver your gift to that someone special as certain times of year fill out faster than others.
2) Two appointments need to be book. An appointment for your session and an appointment for the viewing of your photos 1 week later so allowing enough time to accommodate busy schedules would be best.
3) Quality products take time. Each photo picked is edited before leaving for printing. Books and albums are printed in Italy and some of the higher albums can take up to 6 weeks for production and shipping.
4) Payment plans are available however products are printed and created only at the last payment. This means if you need additional time to pay your order, you will need to plan ahead to meet your deadline.
Hope this blog post was useful in planning your boudoir session.
