When it comes to what to wear for a boudoir photo session, the sky is the limit. What kind of look do you envision for yourself? What genre or era are you trying to evoke? What do you feel comfortable in? What makes you feel sexy?
Having options is good. Don’t feel like it has to be all about lace thongs and bras.
Here are 4 tips to help you out:
1. Boudoir sessions are all about bringing your sexy side, so wear what makes you feel sexy. If something makes you feel uncomfortable, move on to another outfit. Consider it sort of like shopping for the perfect wedding dress. When you put it on, you should be spinning in front of the mirror.
2. Consider what your significant other also likes, too. Maybe he loves you in a certain color, style or lingerie or he still talks about that baby doll you wore a certain time. If he’s into sports or a certain hobby, play into that, as well.
3. Opt for lingerie that flatters your favorite parts. If you’ve got an impressive bust, then choose something that really shows that feature. If you’re a fan of your own behind show that feature. Choose a piece that will accentuate whatever features you love most about yourself.
4. Footwear matters. Choose shoes that scream “sexy sophistication. Heels can do a lady good when it comes to posture and accentuating muscles in her legs. Shoes will also make the legs appear longer.
