Feeling nervous about boudoir is totally normal when thinking about doing a session. Unless you have spent a lot of time in front of the camera, most women feel a little intimidated. However, nerves generally go away in the first five minutes! I do everything possible to make you feel relaxed and comfortable before and during your session.

You don’t have to plan for it a year in advance. There is no rhyme or reason. It’s the same as any other professional photography session, even better. If you are nervous, I encourage you to I have a glass of wine! Better yet, if you are extremely self-conscious, lingerie is not even required. Boudoir can be gentle and subtle.

Everyone is pretty nervous upon booking and arrival. It’s normal. Like I said, those nerves melt away within minutes of the session. You’ll think, “Wow. I was hesitant about this for nothing? This is freaking FUN!”

Don’t give up on the idea of doing a boudoir session because it makes you feel nervous. It is normal to feel scared or anxious about any new experiences, however you should not give up on a dream because of those negative feelings. Boudoir is about embracing the bodies we are in. Celebrating our best qualities and honouring the scars, marks, and dimples that shape us. It’s our right to feel beautiful. We choose body positivity every day.
