Ottawa Photographer – Cancer – A Story Worth Sharing

Last week I was watching a tutorial by Sue Bryce, Australian Glamour Photographer, who has given me inspiration in the past years. She is a passionate artist and a great marketing guru. She was teaching how to incorporate video with photography with the help of Hailey Bartholomew.

At the end of the tutorials they shared a project they did together called “The Light that Shines”.

While Sue was teaching a previous tutorial on Creative Live about glamour photography, she was asked to critique images by Nikki Closser Photography. She had taken images of her friend Jill, a breast cancer survivor.

Sue asked to have a skype conversation with Jill to tell her she had won a trip to Paris and wanted to take Jill along to photograph her in a glamour shoot. A whole team tagged along to make Jill’s story come true.

Cancer is vicious and people need to pay more attention to it.

This slideshow is 15 minutes long but so worth watching because it is Jill’s story. It is beautiful and very touching.

Please help me share her story by putting this blog post on your Facebook page and sending it to your friends.
