Although it is very common for a woman not to have an entourage of lingerie, there are many things in her closet or drawers that will suit perfectly. Whether it’s that little black dress, to a pair of jeans, to a tank top, to a sweat, boudoir doesn’t have to be just lingerie.
You will find many articles on my blog with suggestions on What to Wear to your Boudoir Session.
Many woman chose to bare all with tasteful nudes with a black, red or fushia sheer. These photos are very popular at my studio.
When a woman chooses her own attire to wear to her boudoir session, she will feel more comfortable in front of the camera because it suits her style, body shape and personality as oppose to wearing a piece that does not fit her or suit her.
A piece that is too tight will make her feel uncomfortable when she moves around and a piece that is too big might ruin her confidence.
When she wears her own lingerie, she has already tried it on for size and shape.
A phone or in person consultation is available to all clients so we can discuss ideas on what to wear and what to bring.
Once the session is booked, a “How to get Ready for your Session” Guide is sent to the client filled with tips and tricks.
I hope this blog post was useful to you. Don’t forget you don’t necessarily need lingerie to call it a boudoir session. You get to pick what you want.
