It doesn’t hurt to know a few tricks yourself even though your photographer will guide you every step of the way during your boudoir session.
Here are 5 Poses that every woman should try:
1. Place your hands on your hips.
This common pose works wonders for your body. Extend one leg out in front of the other and place your corresponding hand on your hip. Angle your body slightly towards the camera for that slimming effect. It is important to make it look natural though.
2. Get to know your better side.
Take a few selfies with your phone to see which side of your face you prefer.
3. Sit pretty
How you sit will make a big difference in your photos. Crossing your legs at the ankle will make a great pose. Draw your arms and shoulders inwards for an extra slimming effect.
4. Lighting matters.
Soft natural lighting is the best for hiding any minor imperfections. Avoid harsh light or sitting under any bright lights.
5. Angles make a difference.
Photos should always be taken at eye-level or from above. Low angles will give you a double chin effect. Stay away from tall objects or very tall people if you would like to look taller in your photos as it really does make a huge difference.
